We’re issuing thousands of daily bans of racist and hate-oriented names. This is an effort we began with the launch and we need to do a better job. Infinity Ward (the devs of 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and this year’s Warzone 2020’s game is handled by Treyarch) released a statement on Twitter regarding both of their new games: „There is no place for racist content in our game. Redditors say the scope on the player’s gun looks similar to Black Ops’ reflex sights, and there was no Dead Silence perk available in the Create-a-Class (Modern Warfare has this perk in the Field Upgrade category).

The video below (which we had to look for thoroughly, as the original upload by Mark Walshburg got deleted…) has weird colours and textures, and not just because of the low quality. How about the return of the compass and the minimap? In Modern Warfare 2019, it was available via killstreaks. Sprinting and climbing happen in the footage below, but that’s not important. It has reportedly 45 minutes of pre-alpha gameplay or so leaked from an early map called Tank. This year’s Call of Duty will likely be called Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Instead, they delayed upcoming updates to both Call of Duty: Mobile, and 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (one reason is to support the US protesters, but the other reason could be to prepare the community for the announcement of this year’s game). You’d think that Activision Blizzard would use this time to reveal the new Call of Duty – it didn’t happen, though. This year, it didn’t happen, due to 2020 being an unusual year so to say, and there’s no E3 this year either.

Most of the time, the new Call of Duty game gets announced in May.
